Do you want to get new insights and increase your knowledge of internationalisation? Do you want to be informed about the latest developments at our university? Do you want to learn from each other’s best practices?
Then join and many other (international) colleagues the 2017 edition of Radboud Internationalisation Day.
The afternoon will start with a word of welcome by Wilma de Koning, vice president of our university and Wessel Meyer who will kick off the process for the new internationalisation strategy.Then Jan Palmowski, Secretary General of ‘The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities’ will give a presentation on the purpose of the network and the benefits for our university to participate.
This is followed by two sessions of workshops on the following topics
• Double degrees
• Cultural awareness
• Students and Academic writing in English
• The role of study advisors in internationalisation
• International practical placements
• Erasmus+ mobility outside Europe
In addition to acquiring new and useful insights for your day-to-day work and improving your professional skills, you will get the opportunity to meet and share experiences with international colleagues from partner universities attending the International Staff Training Week (15-19 May).
Who? Internationalisation Day is aimed at all Radboud staff. In particular those who are already dealing in some way with international colleagues and/or students. But also those colleagues who are interested in getting more involved in internationalisation.
